I've been working really hard designing and refreshing my website. However the hardest task has been trying to identify which of my thousands of images I want to display on the site.... and basically I want most of them on there! This of course isn't possible or sensible so what I am doing is posting some favourites onto my blog with some thoughts around the image. Today its the lovely old hotel at John O'Groats which has been extended and refurbished and these colourful Scandi-style apartments added. We stayed here for several days at the end of our Land's End to John O'Groats walk so it does have a special place in our hearts. The apartment we had looked out over the harbour to the Orkney Islands and was quite beautiful.
