Because we used to own a small cottage on the Isle of Skye, we have got to know this incredible place quite well.  It is one of the most photogenic areas of our country and I can highly recommend a visit for anyone interested in mountains, wildlife, the sea, history, or the sheer beauty of landscapes.  Below are just a few examples of what can be seen on this gorgeous island (which is actually connected to the mainland by a bridge now!)
